Positive: This was our third stay at the Park Palace. We stayed for five days and the management kindly booked me into a beautiful quiet room with a view. The breakfast, as always, offered excellent choices that we ate on the verandah. This is also where we took an evening drink and charcuterie board when we were too tired to go out to dinner. The staff are warmly attentive in every way. And it was a delight to walk back up quiet Via di San Leonardo to the treed garden, a friendly welcome, and a cool swim in the pool.

Negative: We still miss the offer of a simple evening meal from years ago when the Park Palace Hotel offered a hot dinner to its guests. This was very popular with families like ours. Sadly, that has gone. At least there is a generous cold charcuterie cheese board on offer, but a wider range of dishes would be helpful for travellers who are too tired to go out.

Summary: We feel at home, welcomed and well cared for at the Park Palace, and guests reflect that feeling.
