Positive: If you're looking for a place to recharge your energy level, disconnect from your hectic and busy life ... and from the world potentially! ...then Kinouta is the place. What I really loved about it is that it is an authentic Japanese house managed by a very kind, caring, helpful and discreet host. It is located in the midst of beautiful nature surrounded by an equally beautiful wild garden where biodiversity is thriving. We spent 5 nights in pension Kinouta and felt the quiet surroundings were very therapeutic and regenerative. The bathroom includes a big hot tub with views over the garden and the kitchen offers space and tea and coffee facilities as well as a microwave. If you need anything Takashi, the host, is only happy to oblige. The only thing I would emphasize on is that you need a car to get around, and explore the surroundings. There is plenty to do and see. I highly recommend to come and have a look if you plan to visit the area!
