Positive: The most notable aspect of our stay was the owner, Jenny; her kindness and thoughtfulness were truly wonderful. When she realized that we were unaware most shops would be closed for May Day and hadn't bought any ingredients for dinner, she immediately and generously offered to share some of her own provisions with us without a moment's hesitation. I managed to go out and get some food myself, so I didn't take her up on the offer, but I was so touched by her kindness. Throughout our stay, she was always thoughtful and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and offering support whenever necessary. We were also charmed by her intelligent and lovely dog and cat, and found comfort in their company. Since the property is nestled in the forest, we could constantly hear the birds singing; it was so quiet, comfortable, and relaxing—it felt just like staying at a relative’s home. Because of this, I honestly want to keep this place a secret to avoid a scramble for bookings next time!
