Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The Pousada was in a great location and was like a museum. Breakfast was very enjoyable, and it was easy to meet other guests. Host was very helpful with recommendations. Definitely like staying in a family home with lots of history, and everything was done with a sense of style.

Negative: Make sure you can climb stairs, my room was a couple of flights of stairs. Also room had steps up and steps down to bathroom, so had to have some extra caution at night. Lastly, host could not seem to process my USA credit card, which had worked successfully for dinners and other expenses in town. While we figured out a solution, it was a problem and I wish I could have paid through Booking.
