historical artisan towns, of ladysmith and chemainus are 5 minute drive away Or take a gorgeous scenic ferry ride to Thetis or Saltspring Island. Nanaimo is just a 30 minute drive away, and Victoria 1 hr. and 10 min. victoria our capital city, is just a beautiful city, and make sure you take the time to go whale watching from fisher-man's wharf!
