Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The accommodation is very well located and has all the necessary facilities. It also has a lovely pool, which you can use at any time. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, though the decoration is a bit tacky :-), and the breakfast is decent. The hosts are very kind and welcoming. We had a wonderful time there and would not hesitate to book it again. Very recommandable. Thank you both, Annabel and Jean Pierre. 10/10 The location is excellent. There are two good restaurants in Salgado (a 7-minute drive), one at the top of the mountain and another down by the beach (price range: €30–50 for two people, including drinks). The beachside restaurant is slightly more expensive (still reasonable), but it offers amazing views. For swimming, we recommend the spectacular beach in Foz de Arelho (20 minutes by car). We also suggest visiting Buddha Eden, an impressive park filled with remarkable sculptures, and the Salinas de Rio Maior.
