Positive: A very nice area away from tourist crowds. Fun to see local people going about their everyday business, a rarity in Venice. Good value pricewise, again an extremely rare case for Venice.

Negative: In my opinion, the place is too small for more than one person.

Summary: It was exactly what I'd expected.
