all the attractions of launceston are within easy reach, including cataract gorge, the queen victoria museum and gallery, and the vibrant harvest community farmers' market, held on saturdays
launceston is the gateway to the stunning wine trails of the tamar valley, and around two hours' drive from cradle mountain-lake st clair national park – home to the world-famous overland track
we do recommend you have a hire car as public transport is not that frequent or easy to access
airport: approximately 20 minutes drive to the airport
public transport: a short 10 minute walk to the nearest bus stop
