Summary: When we walked into the hotel, the lobby smelled like (stinky) cooking food. The air was humid and warm-an unpleasant first impression. Although things were clean and tidy, the smells were offensive. Our room was not much better. The room smelled musty and old, like years of dirty bare feet on the carpet... At this point I would have moved hotels, but I had made a non-reimbursable reservation. The furniture was dusty, and when I turned on the air conditioner, it smelled like the filter needed to be changed. I actually cleaned the room with my own cleaning supplies and bought air fresheners for our stay. The bathroom was clean, and the towels and linens were clean and fresh. The beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, the smells made our stay less than satisfactory.
