wake up with deer grazing in the yard, watch an occasional turkey or eagle Sip your coffee in the bay window and get ready for your day!! Beaches are close by, antiquing and restaurants.......what are you going to do today?
take a day trip to acadia national park only 18 miles away, or visit schoodic point and drive along the waterfront Make your way to Ellsworth for some groceries or shopping in minutes. Hancock point with clay tennis courts and Carters beach, Lamoine Beach, Tunk Lake, Schoodic Mountain, and Blue Hill Mountain are close. Golf at Blink Bonnie in Sorrento, do the ropes course in Trenton with the kids. or you can relax, you are on vacation in this immaculate, open concept home with no hurry to do anything if you dont want to!
there are 2 spacious bedrooms, both with queen beds, and one full bath Open concept kitchen and living room with a giant flat screen tv in almost every room.
there is a gas grill with propane supplied, and a lot of private space and some lounge chairs outside There are deer, turkeys, eagles, etc that frequent the property! Stargazing at night is truly spectacular! This is truly a Maine experience.

Summary: We stayed for 10 days in this quiet and comfortable setting that felt like it was 50 miles from civilization, but actually only minutes from Ellsworth and other neighbors nearby, but out of sight. The 3 things most important to me were all there: #1- Clean!#2 Comfortable beds and #3 a shower with shower head I can reach and that provides good water pressure to rinse my long hair ( this last item is not important to my husband) :)The landlord was very nice and we had the chance to meet her as the TV was not working when we arrived ( this item is important to my husband). We called the property manager, but she was unable to fix the issue over the phone and she contacted the landlord who was there within the hour and got us fixed up promptly. She was very nice and also clarified for us how to handle the trash which we had some questions about. We do not have pets, but this property does allow them and this was a concern when I initially booked- I often book places that do not allow pets - being concerned about cleanliness- but no worries here- there was no trace that any animals had been in the home. I loved waking up to see deer outside and we enjoyed sitting on the deck after dark and being able to see so many stars.I would not hesitate to stay here again and hope I get the chance to return.
