This award-winning family-run B&B is set opposite Lake Windermere in a 19th-century property which was the former gatehouse to Storrs Hall. The restored Storrs Gate House offers sumptuous bedrooms with free Wi-Fi, hearty breakfasts, and free, ample parking. Local and home-made produce are a feature of our traditional and varied English Breakfast menu. Free-range eggs from Bannerigg Farm in Windermere, hand-made large Cumberland sausage and AA grade bacon are supplied by the award winning local butchers Plumgarths. Our lovely Vegetarian, Vegan and gluten free options are also catered for with pleasure. Enjoy our home-made produce which include jam, marmalade, yogurt and home-baked fruit muffins.
