it's a cozy 139-square-foot tiny home withfurnished guest rooms, wide open spaces, and comfortable seating areas Split system air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amnities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers).

- reachable by both 2wd and 4wd
by public transport:
- from the ballina airport guests can hire a car or from ballina catch an uber or taxi
- from sydney or melbourne, it is best to fly to ballina gateway airport then hire a car
other things to note:
- firewood for the fire pit will be an additional charge of $15 per night/fire
- wifi is not available
- pets are not allowed
- bbq grill is not available
- no smoking allowed on the property
- no unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- guests can drink the rainwater from the tap at no extra charge
- please be advised that we have livestock (and noise) on our property
- please expect limited connectivity as the tiny house is set in a rural locality
- keep a safe distance from pets and farm animals as they are easily agitated
- mobile reception is good for telstra; weak for optus, vodafone, 2degrees and spark
- don’t forget to close the windows and lock doors when leaving the tiny house/ property
- make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and electronics (eg especially chargers)
- the recycling/ rubbish bins are located at the bottom of the driveway as you enter the property
- we would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
snake safety guidelines
- we ask guests to follow these safety guidelines to prevent snake bites
- avoid walking through tall grass or grasslands as snakes are abundant in the area
- we recommend wearing long loose pants and close-toed shoes such as boots and sneakers when roaming around the property and the creek area, particularly in summer when venomous snakes are more active
important note:
- guests are advised to wear appropriate clothing during snake season
- there are 2 bee hives located on the property approximately 100m from the tiny home
- due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- keep in mind that bbq grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- in order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our cassette toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
