Positive: We had an amazing stay in a truly breathtaking location, with stunning views in every direction. It felt like a private little village tucked inside another village, creating a wonderfully peaceful and unique atmosphere. Our hosts were warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. The swimming pool was a hit with the children, providing hours of fun. We booked our stay in a bit of a hurry and only later realized that we had actually rented two separate houses instead of one. The two properties were about 100 meters apart, which posed a small challenge for our family of four, especially with two young children. Thankfully, Pierluigi was very understanding. With an additional charge and a partial refund for the second house, we found a solution—sharing our bed with our six-year-old while our eleven-year-old slept comfortably on a foldable bed. I can’t recall the name of the house we stayed in, but it was lovely, with a large terrace perfect for outdoor dining, complete with a big table and plenty of room to relax. Some guests have mentioned that the property can be tricky to reach. Personally, I enjoyed the drive—the narrow roads were thrilling and reminded me of English country lanes. My wife, however, might describe the experience a little differently! All in all, this was a memorable and beautiful place to stay—ideal for anyone seeking a mix of charm, nature, and authentic Italian village life.

Negative: There was no rubbish bin in the bathroom. While we did encounter plenty of wasps and other insects, that’s simply part of nature and something to be expected when booking a location like this in the summer.
