interactions with animals at the farm
we hope to welcome you to our lifestyle farm and small-scale primary production property Once per stay, we offer animal feeding to guests. This happens between 5pm and 6.30pm, depending on the time of the year. As we are parents, farmers and employed workers, we appreciate when this can be pre-arranged. It includes meeting and feeding our horses Tully and Sam as well as feeding the chickens. The pigs live near the dam and are also fed at around that time. Guests are welcome to watch. Right next to the pigs is the dam where the turtles will sometimes come up for a treat.
we ask that guests do not hand feed any farm animals when we are not around This is for safety reasons and also because one of our horses has dietary requirements..
