Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The view over the mountains is fabulous. The vegetation, birds, mountain monks chanting some where far, made it a real spiritual return to nature. The journey there through jungle and tea plantations made it a safari adventure. We were alone apart from the lovely staff, which made it a special escape under the starry sky and fire flies dancing in the night.
Negative: Nothing! But I would not describe it as “glamping”, luckily as the wrong people would come looking for champagne and luxury.
Summary: A perfect insolite getaway for people looking for a spiritual or nature retreat.
