Summary: This is not my favorite hotel in Austin. I was excited to try it out and we were there for a busy weekend (to be fair) but they seemed unprepared for it. Coffee line out the door every morning and there's not a regular breakfast option. The taco joint had great breakfast tacos though - that was a highlight for sure. They didn't clean my room one day and I even spoke with housekeeping and the front desk and they still didn't come. Just felt like the service was pretty mediocre and nothing was easy at the hotel (shouldn't take 5 minutes for a beer at the pool when you are standing at the bar and no one else is waiting for a drink). Pool is nice but it's practically on Congress, you can see traffic from the pool - sort of strange. I expect others might enjoy this place - it was not for me, I prefer a more relaxing and accommodating hotel.
