Summary: The hotel is on a very busy and noisy street in Tacloban. We stayed only one night for a very early flight the next morning. We stayed immediately following the typhoon so the pwer was out, but the hotel was being powered by a generator. They placed us in a room facing the busy street, directly over the generator. Ironically, the noise from the generator helped drown out the street noise, so we were able to sleep relatively well. The hotel staff was very helpful in arranging a taxi for us to get to the airport at 4:30am the next morning. We left too early to have breakfast, even though it was included with the room.
