Summary: This has been on our bucket list for years so we finally got here for our 41st anniversary and we weren't disappointed. Our meals were lovely, well presented and very tasty. Our room was lovely, clean and tidy. Staff were excellent, very welcoming and friendly. I also have to mention the Balfour lager, it has a distinctive taste and is way better than all the usual eurofizz generally available. I'd recommend the Trout as a place to stay to explore the local area.
