Summary: I chose this location for its views, balcony and ratings as a romantic location to celebrate a very significant wedding anniversary. The hotel and staff delivered a mixed experience. While spacious enough and clean, the rooms were not necessarily aligned with the room rates. Some aspects were excellent and recently renovated, while others were a little tired. For the rate we paid it was a little disappointing. The rest of the facility had some excellent features and were certainly on-point especially when it comes to the views from the rooms and restaurant terrace area and the breakfast. The pool and spa area was nice enough, however could use a refresh, spa services were barely average. Communication with the hotel was sporadic until we got there. They were slow to respond on WhatsApp / email and ultimately we just figured things out ourselves. Once there, it was fine however. The biggest disappointment for us was the lack of the little extras one might expect at the price point we paid. They asked us if we were celebrating anything when we booked, and I mentioned our major anniversary would be there and in numerous requests for recommendations (which were largely ignored). Despite this, there was absolutely no acknowledgment or personal touch in recognition of our choosing the property to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel is family-run, which could be a great thing but in this case seemed they were strained for resources. Just my impression. But the views!
