Positive: The house was really spacious, nice outdoor area under a roof, BBQ, it was quiet. the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. the communication with the owners was excellent, they even let us check in earlier, they were attentive, although we never met them in person. the house is in a very small and quiet town.
Negative: When we arrived, it looked that the kitchen was not cleaned, it was full of fruit flies and the counter tops were sticky. Also most of the glasses were not clean. I seemed that they cleaned the whole house, but the kitchen was forgotten. It had most of the amenities, but such a simple thing as wine opener was not there. It would have been nice, if the owners put some nets on all the windows, as occasionally we had cockroaches flying to the patio including the bedrooms, I even had a lizard inside my bed. most of the bathroom/bedroom doors were not closing properly, and if we had some windows opened they would be making noise due to the draft. One of the bedrooms is tiny (you cannot even have your suitcase there), feels more like a closet than a room. Lastly, the smell from the pipes from the bathrooms was horrible, I hope they can fix it properly and not by plugging in electrical air fresheners.
