Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: It is in a really good location for hikes and some of the staff members were really friendly. We had good pasta dishes in the restaurant.
Negative: The property could use some renovation but our stay would have been really pleasant if it wasn’t for the fact that on our departure day we had agreed with the staff that someone would drive us to the ferry at 4pm but it turned out differently. One lady from the staff, told us at 2.30pm, while we were having a drink on the terrace of their restaurant, that we need to leave with her now because no one would have time to bring us later. So we had to wait for two hours by the port for our ferry with the luggage just to see the same lady bring other people to the ferry 20 minutes before the departure and she actually stayed to chat with them the whole time. This would have been plenty of time to bring us to the port as well. We would have rather paid a taxi instead of waiting the whole time but she didn’t offer to call us one when she told us we had to leave. Maybe it was also due to bad communication but it is too bad this tainted our stay on the island.
