Summary: We had a lovely stay. The bed was very comfortable, breakfast overlooking the pool was wonderful, and the grounds were a treat to walk around. We didn’t do a wine tasting, but I can imagine how beautiful the property must be in the fall. I would happily stay here again. The only reason for four stars instead of five was the noise from the room above us. I expected some creaking from an older property—that is part of its charm—but the sound carried much more than expected, and we could hear the guests above us quite loudly throughout the night. Next time, I would request a room on the top floor.
