Positive: Exceptional & Helpful Staff: Despite limited English, the staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond. They were invaluable in organizing our park trips, advising on restaurants, and helping us call DiDi. Amazing Rooms: The rooms are quite amazing—spacious, clean, and very comfortable. This was a major highlight. Good Location: The location was great for us, about 5 minutes by car from many restaurants and 15 minutes from the national park entrance.

Negative: Noise from Other Guests: We were woken up several times by other guests talking extremely loudly in the corridors after midnight. This is a recurring issue in China and shows a lack of consideration for others, which the hotel could help manage with better signage or soundproofing. Outdated & Dirty Common Areas: The elevator is outdated and looked dirty. The restaurant area also appears old and tired, which doesn't match the nice vibe of the rooms and other areas of the hotel. Poor Western Breakfast: The Western breakfast option is very limited (just bread and fried eggs) and the quality was not good. We only ate there once because of this. Conclusion: This hotel's fantastic staff and excellent rooms make it a good base for exploring Zhangjiajie. However, be prepared for potential noise disruptions from other guests and don't expect much from the common areas or Western breakfast. It's a solid choice if you value helpful service and a great room above all else.

Summary: A stay of two halves: wonderfully helpful staff and amazing rooms were let down by noisy people
