you may note that our place is directly above the hill east burger restaurant, a washington post-recognized restaurant We believe this lends to a unique yet classic DC living experience.
in case of any concerns about being above the restaurant, please know that the home has a vapor barrier installed in the floor of the room (2nd bedroom) above the kitchen below We also have an air purifier in that room, as well as the mini-split, so air-flow is very good within the unit. The restaurant closes at 10pm on weekdays, and 11pm on weekends, noise should not be an issue at all during quiet hours.
in terms of any noise from the restaurant, it would only ever possibly consist of dull, practically inaudible sounds during normal business hours, and they don't play loud music, so excess noise has never been an issue
