Summary: We stayed in the beach-front 3 bedroom condo. The unit was comfortable and the balcony was fabulous. The kitchen appliances all worked well although the finish was stained or damaged in places. The air conditioning in the living area was loud and weak but we are told that is scheduled for replacement soon. The on-site crew keep the gardens and public area immaculate and well groomed. They seem to rent out the gazebo and pool area for parties, so that is much busier and noisier on weekends (loud loud music) but mostly this was a very peaceful place with the waves making most of the 'noise'. The town a mile away has a few shops, restaurants and bars (everything needed, really) and is walkable by beach or by road in the daylight, but we were advised not to walk it after dark. This is only a half-hour from Santo Domingo airport. We rented a car, but if we can go back, we wouldn't bother with that again. Uber is readily available. We would definitely return.
