Summary: Our host, Ioana was very accommodating and available by text to answer any questions both before and during the rental period. Because of our larger family (5 people plus our dog) we actually switched to the 5 bedroom cottage and paid the difference. The property is beautiful, very quiet at the end of the cul-de-sac. The kids enjoyed using the kayak and paddle board. Rice Lake has a lot of seaweed, so it's not really a swimming lake, but the boys also enjoyed fishing off the dock and I found sitting by the water very peaceful. It was great that the rental was dog-friendly, our dog Scout enjoyed it as well! We also loved the fire pit that is on the front lawn with Muskoka chairs around it - we used it a few times during our stay. (there's also a smaller fire pit in the back by the lake, but it was waterlogged because of all the rain so we didn't use that) The smart TVs were handy during the rainy days we had.
