Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: This is a lovely place situated in a beautiful spot overlooking the actual Clarissa Falls. Chena, the owner, is delightful, as is all the staff we dealt with. She has built a lovely getaway in a great location near the Xunantunich Mayan site. We had breakfast and dinner, both outstanding, and some great margaritas. The cabins are very nice -- no frills but pleasant and clean. The only potential problem for some would be that the cabins are not air-conditioned. This wasn't really a problem for us -- the fans are powerful and we slept great. If you would need to spend time in them during the daytime, it might not be as pleasant, but we just slept there. There are lots of shady spots with hammocks!

Summary: Lovely spot, great staff, delicious food.
