Formerly known as the Wayside Inn this bright and spacious 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath house has been recently renovated and boosts new stylish furnishings , a large wraparound porch…a great place to have your morning coffee or evening drink.
the house was built in the late 1800s and was previously owned by a retired lighthouse keeper It is located directly across from the Charlotte Rhodes Butterfly Garden as well as Milagro Coffee Bar and the Shoppes at Southwest Harbor.
we are within walking distance to the downtown southwest harbor shops & restaurants as well as the causeway club (golf, tennis, squash, pickle ball) We are minutes away from many Acadia National Park hiking trails. The Bass Harbor Light House and Seawall are about a 10 minute drive and Bar Harbor Village about a 20 minute drive.
please, note the stairs going up to the second floor are steep and could be a safety issue for families with toddlers
