Summary: Tahoe Tavern is a very good location for enjoying all the recreational activities Lake Tahoe has to offer, both in winter and summer. Our unit was very comfortable except for the heating problem in the main floor. The fireplace, which was the main source of heat for the first floor, died out on the first day and couldn't be restarted. The managers did provide space heaters which helped. The upstairs rooms were very comfortable. That said, we would likely book the unit again because of the location and other amenities.
