located in serene starr bay on lake scugog, our retreat offers endless opportunities for boating and fishing, with two kayaks and a paddle boat provided for your aquatic adventures
we pride ourselves on being honest and upfront with our guests and thus want to be clear regarding the lake conditions on starr bay Even though the water is swimmable, The water in Starr Bay is clear but very shallow and weedy in a portion of the shallowest areas, making it harder to swim. We have included a few photos so that guests can see what we are referring to in the lake.
for guests that decide not to swim in the shallow area, the kayaks & paddleboat are excellent transportation tools to venture out to the deeper regions of starr bay or further into lake scugog to swim
