Calm & tranquility in the heart of a peaceful, picturesque little wine village of the Côtes Chalonnaises, perfectly preserved, nestled in the hollow of a bucolic valley of vineyards & wooded meadows, not far from a vast wild national forest, in the heart of the gentle Dheune valley full of history ("the ceramic valley"). Splendid rural & natural setting surrounding, adjoining the Maranges & Couchois in the heart of the preserved wine-growing countryside, on a natural site protected in "Natura 2000 Zone" for its rich ecosystems, magnificent hilly setting of vineyard hillsides, groves & forests, close to "Mont Rome" culminating at 546m (renowned climbing site & superb belvedere offering an exceptional view extending from the Saône to the Autunois) & "Mont de Sène" (former Celtic place of worship with a majestic panorama).
