Summary: The room had a strong but odd odor. Many harmless house spiders in all corners of the room may really bother someone who doesn't like spiders. No soap in bathroom, no shampoo, no cups to even drink water. TV didn't work until someone finally came at 10 pm to reset it after several contacts and attempted contacts with front desk. We were told staff called in and the place was short handed. No one was at the front desk or answered calls. No ice working ice machine and the only vending machine was an unplugged and broken one that an employee said had been in that condition for a year and the door labelled "vending" should have been locked to keep guests from entering where the non-funtioning vending and ice machine were located. No coffee machine available anywhere or even in the room like many motel/hotels provide. There was othing major was wrong just a bunch of l small things mentioned above that could be improved on to make this a much more enjoyable place to stay. The grounds and buildings are in a beautiful setting and could be so much more if more staff and effort were put into place at this location. I thought the low price I paid for a night was a great deal until I experienced the shortfalls in all these other areas I mentioned. I don't think I will stay at this place in the future as small mom/pop motels provide better amenities.
