Summary: A wonderful ryokan with a lovely staff, who also speak good English. We were courteously picked up from Yaizu station and then dropped off when we checked out as well. The room is very large, bed comfortable, and filled with modern amenities. Even the temperature of our private onsen can be adjusted down to 39C (which I preferred). The meals were elaborate and delicious, served in a very tranquil and comfortable setting. I would definitely return in the future. I especially recommend this hotel to solo travelers, as this one of the very few higher end, full service ryokans with a private onsen that accepts lone guests.
