the studio was designed by award winning architect phil pratt, renowned for his pavilion designs based on the principles of ‘tatami architecture’ from japan It. Local black butt exposed trusses, soaring ceilings, timber floors, light bright interiors, luxury furnishings and original artworks adorn the walls.
the studio consists of a fully equipped kitchen with quality appliances, including a smeg coffee machine and kettle for your morning brew of choice Separate bathroom with bath tub and wheel chair access (for mobility impaired guests) Spacious bedroom with queen size bed, quality mattress and pillows, gorgeous bamboo and cotton bed linen, luxurious towels and bathroom products to indulge.
lounge and kitchen - includes a sony 4k smart tv with foxtel now, a sonos sound bar, air conditioning and comfortable couch Tucked away in a cupboard is a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The kitchen consists of an oven, electric stove top, microwave and fridge. All your kitchen basics are provided, such as olive oil, salt, pepper, vinegar, tea, coffee, sugar etc.
bathroom - includes a bath tub, toilet, separate shower and vanity
outdoor deck - both the bedroom and lounge area have bi-fold doors opening onto the deck Comfortable lounge seating is provided.
parking - there is parking for one vehicle on the premises (please park in the designated parking area)

garden - the landscape and gardens add a natural balance to the ambience of the home and have been carefully designed to promote feelings of calm and contemplation There are an abundance of birds, bees, flowers and fruit and nut trees. Please take care when wandering in the garden as there are areas that are quite steep. We also have a veggie patch and many fruit producing trees that you are most welcome to use at the time of your stay.

• the outdoor dining deck is connected to the ‘mountain view house’ pavilion, which shares the ramp access to the studio A retractable privacy screen is installed to divide the two accommodations when separate groups are using the space. These can be retracted for groups who chose to book both of the accommodation spaces. We request you respect your neighbours privacy should separate groups be using the two accommodations. maleny is a 5 minute drive along a picturesque road, here you will find a iga, woolworths and specialty stores, plenty of options if you are needing to stock up on supplies for your stay!
