there's free street parking that's first come, first serve Most of the time we're able to park within 500 feet of the door, but if it's super busy, you might have to park a short block or two away. If that happens, feel free to throw on your flashers and drop bags in the unit before parking.
you're a 3 minute walk from the chicago blue line stop, which runs direct to o'hare airport From Midway Airport, you could take the orange line into the city and then exchange at Clark/Lake to the blue line for 2 stops to get to the Chicago blue line stop.
the blue line and 56/66 buses can get you to plenty of exciting spots in the city! the salt shed is just down the street, about a 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive
we love this area of the city! we've lived in the same building in another apartment for the past 4 years, and fall more in love with the area every day It's got a great neighborhood-y feel yet is right in the thick of everything.
