Positive: We very much liked our stay at the Cactus Refuge in Urubamba. We stayed in a very nice small bungalow that was very new, luxurious, spacious and light. We stayed for two weeks in the yard of Marina and Walter. Every morning we had a lovely breakfast made by Walter (once a chef-cook). We could always fall back on the lovely and attentive support from them. We had a great time. We often sat in the garden loving the warm morning-sun. We had a great walk with Walter along the other side of the river where old Inca-tombs could be found. For us the shower could be a little bit hotter. The nights can be cold so we had more than sufficient blankets to keep us warm during the night. Our experience with the lodge and the owners was worth every Sol of our money. We very much like to come back and enjoy another stay at the lodge. For us it’s a five star experience
