Deer roam through the yard, resident eagle and loons, birds chirping, insects, butterflies and moths, frogs hopping, and all that you would imagine from mother nature.
you can enjoy two different circular seating area with firepits, one on the upper hill and one nestled below the hill next to the swim beach The front yard is nice and flat for your favorite yard games and ample parking for your trailer. Fishing is excellent right off the dock. Plus, with three kayaks, three paddleboards, a paddleboat, swim raft, and various water toys available for you to use, you'll never run out of things to do.
the boat launch and second swimming beach are just 15 miles down the road, directly across from the property. And if you're looking for some land adventures, there's walking and hiking trails nearby in the Smokey Hills State Forest! When it comes to dining, some of the best places are within a 15-minute drive and are also accessible via snowmobile and four wheeler/UTV trail systems. Smokey Hills State Forest OHV and Two Inlets State Forest connects to many miles of state and local trail systems, the trail head is just a half mile away with easy access.

Summary: 3 girlfriends from high school and our girls stayed for three nights and four days and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The property was peaceful and quiet—the perfect getaway. The home was incredibly well-stocked with everything we needed and more: a fully equipped kitchen (including an ice machine, common seasonings, olive oil, plenty of pots, pans, plates, utensils, large bowls, wine opener, even a fun emoji pancake pan!), coffee and tea, laundry supplies, towels (so many towels!), comfy blankets and super comfortable beds.There were thoughtful extras throughout the home, like games, a TV with a VCR (bring your DVDs!), two beautiful fireplaces with lake views, and tons of outdoor amenities: firewood, water toys, life jackets, yard games, and even fishing supplies. The girls (8-10 years old) were catching little fish right at shore with a net and a paddleboard. We stopped counting after 20 fish because it was happening so often! They didn’t miss a thing—there were first aid kits, sunscreen, and bug spray, too.There’s no Wi-Fi, which turned out to be one of our favorite things—it really helped us unplug and enjoy quality time together.Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort, nature, and a peaceful escape. We’d absolutely stay here again! Can’t wait!
