Positive: Everything. A wonderful August Bank Holiday weekend. The location was spot on. They property was immaculate, and one of our Top 10 stays over the Years booking with Booking.com. A private little garden too :-) A good touch with the packet of Fox's biscuits on arrival too. Nice quiet village of Hickling. 5 minutes walk to the local pub 'Greyhound Inn' serving traditional food. Make sure to book beforehand, does get busy! Asked Sandra the host if there was anywhere nearby for Breakfast. She recommended the The Dunes in Sea Palling (4 miles), a country Barn was lovely on the 1st day, and very close the lovely sandy beach stretching miles, and not many crowds!! Since it was a warm sunny BH weekend. Parking just round the corner from the Barn wall. The other place we went to was Vera's Coffee Shop inside a Garden Centre (4 miles) near Stalham nearby town. Both places recommended were spot on Thankyou. The 'Boat Inn' is worth a visit too only (1.6 miles) in Hickling, village we stayed in. If you fancied a boat Trip or a meal (Book beforehand). Lovely views of Hickling Broad & boats. We visited Burgh Castle near G/ Yarmouth about 18 miles away, and the Binham Priory near Cromer. Visited Cromer on the return journey, lovely beaches not as crowded as Great Yarmouth. had a lovely traditional lunch in the No 1 Cromer, right opposite the Pier. Best F&C had for a while & the service was excellent. Peter & Yvonne (23-25 August) 2025 :-)
Negative: Shower could have been better with a Power shower, but did the job nothing major.
