Summary: The apartment was in the basement with fairly steep stairs and no lift. Lot of comfortable clean space to stretch out in. BUT as a light sleeper the noise was an issue, customer service didn't feel hospitable and policies are down right tourist unfriendly. There was a lot of traffic and pedestrian noise from the street that was compounded by the lack of insulation and single pane glass. The request for an early check in was robotically denied even though the room was ready. Never mind an early check in you will NOT be able to access the building with the code given to you until 3pm. They don't care if it is pouring rain as it was when we arrived at 2:50 PM, you can't access the building. At night the the temperature dropped down to 40F but the radiators didn't come on. The reply to my whatapp message was generic link to a Nest thermostat which this apartment didn't have. A 2nd message result to instruction on adjusting the radiators which also didn't match the radiator we had. The worse part was the interaction after water started pouring down from a smoke alarm in the kitchen. We where told they will not send anyone out after hours. CS asked us to use bath towels to dry the aera when we complained it was a slip hazard and promised fresh towels first thing the next morning. When no one came with towels the next day. None came and I ended up drying off with paper towels after showering because we need to catch a flight. The water could have been a bio harzard but ...
