Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Fantastic place run by a young couple, who are very devoted hosts. They welcome you with little gifts, show you all the area around the house as well as send you all information about what to visit and where to eat. They are very kind and helpful. In the morning you are served a breakfast on a little terrace with a mountain view, which is lovely. Breakfast is of Italian style, with home made cakes or waffles, fresh made coffee and a lot of sweet snacks to choose. There's also fruit (if you're lucky you get a mango from the host's father garden:), muesli, yoghurt and juice. The pool is a few steps up the hill. It's big enough to swim and with wonderful mountain view. There're many sunbeds, beach umbrellas, tables and chairs so there's a lot of space for relax. The area is quiet and peaceful except for the sound of donkeys grazing on the nearby hill and birds singing. The location is very good if you want to stay in a peaceful area but on the other hand you want to visit places like Taormina or Savoca. I very much appreciated mosquito nets in all the windows (at night we turned off the air conditioning and slept with an open window).
Negative: If I were to add anything I'd put some shelf in a bathroom and a hanger for towels next to the shower and the washbasin. In the room I'd add a dresser with a few drawers. Perhaps also a little kettle with a few cups in each room would be a good idea.
