25 min to downtown bar harbor where there are many restaurants & shops, 3 pharmacies, a movie theater, grocery stores, and much more
many hiking & biking trails are within a 20-30 min drive (trails and carriage roads can be accessed all over the island)
10 min to ellsworth - where you'll find restaurants, movie theaters, grocery stores, pharmacies, walmart, tj maxx, lL. Bean, and other stores. Main Street in Ellsworth, which leads down to a small bridge & river, is a nice part of this small city with an old-fashioned downtown with some interesting shops and restaurants.
