Summary: Weather Station Inn built in 1911, so have to recognize old building. However, our room on second floor, and stairs to second floor, could use some maintenance. Our room, Grand Bahama, was big and nice, but very sparse in decorative items. Wooden floor in places needed repairs and a few nice area rugs would have made it better. Furniture old, but not elegant or refinished. Blinds on door to patio not working properly and no blinds or room darkening curtains on other windows. They had a minimal prepackaged breakfast which would not be considered a nice touch in a real bed and breakfast establishment. If rent on second floor be advised that there are 30 steps in which you have to carry luggage up without assistance. No one on premises after 4 pm. Fan speed cord too short to reach without getting on a chair (I’m 5’10’). Nice location, but our room not worth price charged without better updates in room and carrying luggage to second floor. Other rooms seems to have nicer window treatments and perhaps first floor rooms better.
