Positive: Wey House is a lovely large house that was comfortable and roomy for our extended family. It was pleasant to have milk and a variety of beverages plus shortbread on arrival. The bed linen and towels were good quality. The house was well equipped and homely. We had a very pleasant stay. Withypool is a pretty area, the local river was very popular with the young members of our family for paddling, and there is a well stocked local shop, the local cafe sells a variety of food and ice cream that were delicious. The Crown pub at Exford were very friendly and accommodating and would recommend them to other visitors.
Negative: It’s not an ultra modern property but is well equipped, very spacious and homely which made it comfortable. (Maybe a freshen up of the cooker hood wouldn’t go amiss).
Summary: A great family holiday, in a very comfortable spacious property.
