whistling duck is a romantic one bedroom cottage, approx 600 sq ft It has air conditioning, and a full kitchen, living room, full bath with an inside shower, plus an outside shower, and a king sized bed. It’s located on beautiful Lochabar Point Beach in Clarence Town, Long Island, Bahamas. Three islands border the harbour in front to protect and calm the water. Wonderful for swimming and snorkeling! Inside French doors open into the bedroom with a connecting bathroom. A private veranda with an attached outdoor shower is accessible from the bedroom. Windows abound with special water views. The covered porch deck leads to a path, and a few steps take you to a covered palapa placed right at the water’s edge.
this cottage has privacy but is within a short drive to well stocked stores and great island restaurants It is a self caretaking cottage with the option for a fee of daily housekeeping. Long Island is a family friendly island and is very safe. It is known as one of the best places in the world to bonefish.

the beach in front of the cottages will disappear with the rising tide, but you can walk to lochabar point beach immediately next to the cottages, with a very long sandy beach
