Herring Creek opens up to the bay via a low bridge so boats with a hard top or towers will have a problem clearing the bridge but smaller boats will be able to enjoy all that the bay has to offer. Have putting contests on the putting green with its sand trap and water hazard or just sit and relax as the sun goes down while eating delicious steamed crabs that you caught using the crab pot available to you. Here you will be conveniently located near to the beach, shopping, and restaurants as well as to Assateague Island State park where you can spend a day at the beach and see the wild ponies.
