A fifteen-minute drive will take you to Banner Elk, where you can explore local shopping, dining, and The Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster. Sugar Mountain Ski Resort and Public Golf Course are also just fifteen minutes from the home. Boone and Appalachian State University, with their local shopping, dining, the Boone Golf Course, breweries, and other attractions, are an easy drive up the road.
